Gwen King
Co-Founder
Gwen loves projects. Cars, houses, pipe systems – anything with a diagram to dissect. Growing up in California, she learned to drive on a Volkswagen EOS, a model discontinued for being too reliable. It is a little manual drive convertible, and she still drives it whenever she goes to visit her parents. Gwen is an Environmental Engineer who recently entered the construction industry. As her construction and machine understanding grew, she realized how easily solvable most basic machine repairs are. She also noticed a severe lack of female mechanics and therefore hopes to inspire other women to open their toolboxes.
Jonathan Wies
Co-Founder
In order for a car engine to run well it needs oil. In the business world, a COO acts as the oil and helps run a smooth business. Jonathan's wealth of knowledge in the Business Development comes from prior experience in working with a renewable product company in Switzerland and also consulting other companies on their operations in South Africa. This experience in fundraising and networking are very important in the beginning phases for a startup. In his free time Jonathan enjoys the outdoors and traveling, and is dreaming of taking his first exotic car on a road trip around Europe.
